There are many different ways to make a difference to your environment within the village, with plenty of recycling facilities easily available, many of which receive funds that are re-invested back into the community or support worthwhile causes.

At the Co-op

Any plastic carrier bag and any plastic bag for life, toilet and kitchen roll packaging, bread bags, magazine wrap and multi pack film. Used batteries.

Soft plastic only: crisp packets, sweet wrappers, plastic film, petfood pouches, plastic bags
 

At the library

Printer cartridges - all home-use ink cartridges accepted, but only able to give funds to charities for HP and Canon inkjet cartridges and used batteries

At the Village Bar Car Park

Glass – mixed

Funds from this are fed back to the Capel Community Association.

At the Garden Centre Car Park 

Glass – clear and mixed 

Funds from this are given to the Capel St Mary Parish Council which are then re-invested in local clubs, groups and amenities.

At the Methodist Church

Printer cartridges – Canon, HP, Lexmark and Samsung. Money goes to New Dawn India
